The excitement leading up to Christmas will peak on Christmas Eve. As the sun sets there is a great feeling of excitement, with people looking forward to that wonderful day to come. Savannah is in a holiday mood this time of the year and the night before Christmas is no exception. There are some things that you and your entire family may enjoy in those hours before Santa Claus makes his rounds.
What is Happening on December 24th
The Savannah River Boat Cruises has a Christmas Eve Dinner Cruise which you can enjoy. It gives an opportunity to sit back and relax, not having to worry about getting dinner prepared or washing the dishes afterwards. This is a reservation only affair and if you want to be a part of it, you had better make contact with a reservation desk as soon as you can.
Many people include church as part of the Christmas Eve activities. The Cathedral of St. John the Baptist has its traditional Christmas Eve Mass, and there is a concert at 11:30 PM that evening. Savannah Christian Church has three services on Thursday, and a special Spanish service on that evening as well. Christ Church Anglican traces the roots back to 1733, and this historic church and will have a candlelight service on Christmas Eve.
There are a number of restaurants that happen to be open on Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day as well. You can make a few telephone calls to find out which ones will be serving, and perhaps spare yourself the chore of making a big holiday dinner. The Savannah Theater will have an evening performance of "A Christmas Tradition," and you will be getting out well before a certain sleigh ride crosses the nighttime sky. If last minute shopping happens to be one of your Christmas Eve traditions, Tanger Outlet will be open until 6PM. Cottage Garden will have its December Nights and Holiday Lights display until 9PM
Looking at the Real Estate
You perhaps may be thinking of selling your Savannah home during this holiday season, but home buyers are not last-minute shoppers. They want to get the best possible deal and can be very selective. It is going to require the right type of marketing to move your real estate. Of course, you can do this all by yourself but it is going to take a lot of your time. Marketing includes more than just listing the house and putting up a sign; a person has to have social media presence as well. It is essential to get the house sold in a short period of time, or else you risk having to reduce the price of your house. Live Love Savannah can help.
