St. Patrick’s Day or the Feast of St. Patrick is a cultural and religious celebration to commemorate the death of St. Patrick, the foremost Patron Saint of Ireland. What started out as a religious celebration of St. Patrick in Ireland has evolved into various festivals across the world celebrating the Irish culture with music, dancing, parades, food and drinks and a whole lot of green.

Savannah’s St. Patrick’s Day celebration has been ranked as the third largest St. Patrick’s Day Parade not just in the US but the third largest parade in the world next to New York City and Dublin attracting guests and tourists all over the US with over 500,000 people in attendance participating in the parade and other celebrations across the city. March has easily become one of the busiest months in the city with many events and festivities dedicated to celebrating this Irish festival.
